Influence of Knowledge Management on Business Processes: Value-Added and Sustainability Perspectives

Knowledge management (KM) practice is increasingly less considered as a supportive activity, knowledge processes (KMP) are inseparable from critical business (BP). Even though some scientific studies underlined that KM integration into BP expensive and slow due to many organizational barriers, their sustainable value organizations undeniable. Although KMPs’ interactions have been studied in the literature, there still lack of comprehensive related knowledge-intensive organizations’ practices on impact whole cycle—consisting creation, sharing, storage, application—on BP, such development, production, sales, for creating value-added (VA) sustainability. In order identify interconnections between individual KMP this study aimed evaluate influence support continuous improvement creation VA organizations. A research model was developed analyze perspectives. An empirical performed Lithuanian project companies used operations involved 144 managers 72 IT Survey (structured questionnaire) statistical analysis methods (one-way variance (ANOVA); Pearson’s correlation analysis; multiple regression mediation cluster chi-square analysis) were applied study.
